Painting demonstration of a still life featuring tangerines in oil paints on canvas.
I'm missing the last part of this video where I paint the leaves on the fruit. To paint the leaves, I first attempted to paint them with various greens I mixed, but I couldn't get a color or texture I was happy with - so I painted a grisaille (black and white) version of the leaves and once it was dry I used a glaze of green oil paint thinned down with a lot of Liquin to add color. This worked just the way I was hoping it would!
Supplies used:
*Winsor & Newton artist oil paints
*Richeson Shiva oil paints
*Rembrandt Oil paints
*Blick stretched canvas, 10x20 inches
*Master's Touch long-handle paintbrushes (synthetic)
