Ep 049 - 22 degree Halo Moon
Last night, we had a 22° halo moon.
I recorded this with both my All Sky Cameras (in the same enclosure to test them side by side), one with a dedicated Astronomy Camera (the ZWO ASI120MC-S which sells for about AUD$300) and the second, the "new" Raspberry Pi HQ Camera (which is about AUD$100).

According to Wikipedia, a 22° halo is an optical phenomenon that belongs to the family of ice-crystal halos. Its form is a ring with an apparent radius of approximately 22° around the Sun or Moon. When visible around the Moon, it is called a moon ring or winter halo.
