Southern Baptist Empowerment: Allies of Israel
Southern Baptists, and other evangelical Christians, tend to be strongly supportive of Israel.
This puts them at odds with the current American administration which is increasingly hostile towards Israel.
For that matter, the world at large seems increasingly hostile towards Israel, as is demonstrated at the UN and elsewhere.
In this light, the staunch pro-Israeli stance of Southern Baptists makes them a rare and valuable force, and one to be nurtured.
I say this as a freethinker who is wary of the oppression which can arise from traditional organized religion.
Nonetheless, even with my highly individuated cosmology, upon weighing out the alternatives, I see the goodness of the Baptists.
They understand two essential points: That the Jews must have Israel and that the Jews must build the Third Temple.
On whatever else we disagree, we agree whole-heartedly upon these crucial matters: Israel must prevail and build the Temple.
If this can be accomplished, and the Heavenly Presence returns to earth, its arrival will settle disputes over dogma and perception.
For this to happen, Israel must survive and persevere, and to this worthy end are Southern Baptists dedicated.
The elements of Jewish influence which will be shifting from political left to right to save Israel will be wise to bear this in mind.
Any scenario on North American soil which empowers the Southern Baptists will empower the nation of Israel.
This would include, but not be dependent upon, a scenario in which the lands associated with the former Condefderacy gained independence.
After all, the constitution of South Carolina gave the Jews their first legal homeland of sorts in centuries.
In the foreseeable scenario that Israel and New York were destroyed, who would welcome the Jews?
Only the Southern Baptists, whose powerbase is in the former Confederate States of America, would.
