Urban Samurai - Japanese Inspired lofi Trap Beat
I made this beat about 3 years ago and I wanted to update it a bit and upload the new version here! I had a very specific goal in mind when I first made this beat and I wanted to make sure I stayed true to that original idea while I was updating it.
When I first made this track, I looked up Japanese musical scales to use to get that iconic sound and I really like how it turned out. I am hoping to make more beats with this style of harmony in the future for sure!
This beat is definitely more trap than lofi, but I am hoping one day to make a long lofi mix with a bunch of my tracks in the future, in which case I will probably make another version of Urban Samurai that leans more into the lofi aspects as opposed to the trap elements.
