Albedo and Light Reflection I FWC CII.11
This lecture examines reflection of light off the Earth's surface and we define the albedo. Albedo is the percentage of solar radiation that is reflected from the earth's surface. Different surfaces have different values of albedo.
This video follows Chapter II (“Energy, radiation and earth’s energy budget”) of Fundamentals of Weather and Climate and is Lecture 11 in this series.
