Adobe InDesign Text Frame Options: Use One Frame for Multiple Columns of Text in Adobe InDesign

I'm Joseph Caserto, a graphic designer and educator. Adobe InDesign, by Adobe Systems, is the publishing industry's standard software for page layout and design for magazines, catalogs, and publications. As a design practice, it makes sense to move text away from the frame edge if there's a color tint behind it, but if you're drawing more than one frame to do it, you're making a lot of extra work for yourself if when you need to make layout changes.

I'll show you how to get the most out of a single text frame. We'll add multiple columns of text, inset them from the frame edge, and change the vertical alignment. Whether you're creating a print or digital publication, using a single text frame instead of multiple ones will help you build and revise layouts faster, and bring your desktop publishing skills up to the next level.

This software tutorial is a lesson from my course, Intro to Adobe InDesign at Udemy.com. It's loaded with essential information and how-to's that will build and hone skills in this critical application for any publication design professional. For a limited time, you can get it for $19 (reg. $99) using coupon code YOUTUBE, available through this link:
