Abarth 595 Competizione First Drive: A True Pocket Rocket!
Last year I was able to drive the Abarth 695 (no video for that I'm afraid) but I've never driven the 595 before. Well that's about to change as I was able to have a quick spin in the small, but mighty 595 Competizione.
It may only have a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol, but it's able to pump out 178bhp with 250Nm of torque. Mated to a 5-speed manual, this little red rocketship will hit 62mph in 6.7 seconds and the top speed is a respectable 140mph.
This model has the optional Performance Pack, which adds a limited slip diff, Sabelt sports seats with carbon fibre shells, 17" Supersport alloys, 595 interior badges and a choice of red, white and gloss black trim for both the interior and exterior.
