Aikido: 9 Course Leading Sankyo
Sankyo is usually done as a wrist breaking technique. Here we show the leading move that we normally use to setup Sankyo.
These techniques look very simple and in a sense they are, but they are not easy to learn. When doing these Nage barely touches Uke and the throws seem like magic. Most people explain them in magical terms but we think it is better to describe them as reflex control. Because the people learning the technique cannot feel what is making them fall it is difficult to learn.
