UGANDA-FRANCE HOLDS FIRST INVESTMENT CONFERENCE IN PARIS, FRANCE
Uganda has today held its first-ever Uganda-France Investment Conference in Paris, France, marking a historic step in promoting foreign investment in the Pearl of Africa.
The high-level engagement brought together key Ugandan government officials, business leaders, and French investors to explore new economic partnerships.

The Uganda-France Investment Conference, hosted today in Paris, has set the stage for deeper economic collaboration between the two nations. Leading the Ugandan delegation were the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Ramathan Ngobi, and Uganda’s Ambassador to France, Spain, and Portugal, Doreen Ruth Amule.

Uganda’s Investment Authority has now been streamlined into a one-stop center to assist investors with acquiring necessary documentation efficiently, reducing bureaucracy and accelerating business setup.

The conference outlined key investment opportunities in Uganda, including, Agro-processing, Tourism, Energy & Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, ICT & with opportunities in fintech, e-commerce, and software development. Over 40 French investors are already in Uganda.
