Already drenched in blood and inquisitorial terror, why broach the subject of Vatican history now?
We're doing it, in part, because, with a constitutional convention on the horizon, America could be but a few steps away from repudiating her Constitution, and with it, one of the greatest legacies of the Protestant Reformation - i.e., her First Amendment. Our prayer is that this clip (and the series to which it points), will go viral. May these, dear God, spread sufficiently far afield as to cause the masses to think soberly about the consequences of an American Theocracy.
With blood-splattered hinges creaking through the medieval night, what ancient doors would an America without her First Amendment reopen? Smithfield? Salem?
