This demo, which will be on display at Automate 2023, shows the accuracy of the Orca series motors' sensors. The demo features two motors which are connected to a tablet running a GUI that we've made with our Iris SDK and Iris Controls. The first motor demonstrates the accuracy of the position sensors. Using the tablet, a user can command a position to the motor which will be read back onto the GUI. This can be compared to the reading of the calipers which are mounted to the motor.
The second motor demonstrates the accuracy of the force sensors. A user can place one of a set of calibrated weights on the motor. The GUI will read back the weight that the motor is sensing.
Each motor is only connected to the power supply and to the tablet via USB.
