Iris Dynamics Ltd. Orca Series Linear Motors (Actuators) are force sensing/force controlled and fully backdrivable. They can operate either into PLC systems with traditional analog, digital, or serial control but can also run directly over USB and into applications like LabVIEW, MatLAB, Simulink, Unity, Unreal, etc. Visit our downloads page for application examples, APIs, and software examples. There is no requirement to buy a separate controller, position encoders, load cells, or motor drivers as these actuators/motors are fully integrated, quiet, and waterproof (IP68). They can be controlled directly or with pre-set motion profiles.
