Background:
This was the second full song I ever made, back in summer 2020. It was to fulfill a request to make an "Experimental Black Metal" track for a friend. I was missing some vital ingredients to make a song like that but I improvised with what I had.
No dedicated guitar vst? Use a free power chord 8dio library and the free Spitfire LABS Amplified Cello Quartet put through a free guitar amp sim.
Only have a processed drum library? Distort the living hell out of it, drive the room sound and make the snare sound like a trash can.
No vocals? Take a recording of an elk's bugle call (already terrifying) and add some fx on it for the intro.
Like most of the songs from this time in my music making journey, it's very poorly mixed and not mastered really at all so you might have to crank the volume a bit unless YouTube's compression is feeling particularly generous on upload.
