Background:
This is a medley of songs from the Boston post-metal band Isis arranged for orchestra. I love just about everything this band has put out, so picking and choosing which songs to use in the suite involved a lot of tough decisions. In the planning stage I tried to keep it to just signature moments from my favorites but I still ended up with over 33 minutes of material just in piano sketches alone. I whittled that down to what you see here and did my best to capture both the atmosphere and crushing moments this band is so well known for. Enjoy and thanks for listening!
