JOANA'S BIO
Joana leads strategy for Amazon Web Services (AWS)’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business, working in partnership with the EMEA Leadership Team to grow the AWS business and support long-term decision making. In her previous role, Joana led sales strategy for AWS UK & Ireland. Prior to her time at AWS, Joana led the Sales Strategy and Operations team for South America at LinkedIn’s digital advertising business, and set up the Process Improvement team driving Sales and Customer Experience improvements at M-KOPA, a leading African Tech start-up providing access to energy, TV and other life-enhancing products to hard-to-reach rural customers. Joana worked in strategy consulting for 6+ years at EY Strategy / EY-Parthenon. Her other experience includes working in the UK Parliament, banking, and an African human rights organization. Joana is also an Innovation Fellow at London & Partners, the Mayor of London's globally focused Innovation arm.
