How to make a Silhouette Mosaic in Photoshop

Steps to make a silhouette Mosaic in Photoshop:
1. Create a document for the Mosaic pattern.
Choose File- New.
I will create a new document with 1000x1000 pixels size.
2. Show the Grid.
Choose View- Show- Grid.
Set the number of the grid by choosing Edit- Preferences- Guides, Grid & Slices.
3. Insert image.
Choose File- Place Embeded, select a photo, then click Place.
Adjust the size and position on the document using Free Transform.
Make a selection using the Rectangular Marquee Tool.
Choose Layer- New Layer via copy.
You can then delete the original layer.
4. Define pattern.
Choose Edit- Define Pattern.
5. Open your main Photo and make selection.
I will use the Quick Selection Tool to make a selection.
Split the selection by choosing Layer- New- Layer via copy.
Duplicate Layer 1 by choosing Layer- Duplicate Layer.
6. Fill selection with mosaic pattern.
Right-click on Layer 1.
Choose Select Pixels.
Select Edit- Fill, choose Pattern on Use field, select the mosaic pattern that we created earlier.
Click OK.
7. Make selection on clothes.
Create an empty layer, fill with white color and drag it to the lowest position.
Duplicate the Mosaic's layer and drag it to a position above the white layer.
Uncheck the mosaic's layer visibility.
Make a selection on the clothes using the Pen Tool.
8. Create Mask.
Check the mosaic's layer visibility option.
Choose Layer- Layer Mask- Hide Selection.
9. Adjust Layer Opacity.
Click the clothes layer, choose Image- Adjustments- Desaturate.
Adjust its opacity to 50%.
