Rambling about the Old Souls Community (2022-10-18)
Thinking back about the old souls community and how everyone interacted and related to each other back in the day. There was a lot of room for toxicity and animosity that went somewhat unchecked. A chunk of it was just that people were less mature and less tolerant of differing opinions and even personalities. One big divide was honor duelists vs invasions. I got bored of dueling pretty quickly and loathed being harassed for invading and not caring about playing by arbitrary rules. Some people were just flat out racist or homophobic or whatever, and some of them ended up banned from Twitch (or really, JTV -- it was a long while ago).
