Rambling about my early Dark Souls builds (2022-10-18)
Once I finally broke down to embrace meta garbage weapons early in Dark Souls, I think that framed everything in a way to where I could properly digest the game and loop back around to doing my own thing - this time with a lot of success. I started by doing the Dex-Int route with a rapier-wielding spellblade (the original form of Jarvis) before distilling it down to its raw essence as a critical attack monster.
Later, my love for spellcasting got its time to shine as I started making some ruthless spellcaster builds (the lesser-known int/faith pure caster "Gailliem" in Dark Souls 1 and 2). After that, both Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring both had me starting as a spellcaster both in PvE and PvP.
