Hey there! I’m Matt, and in this video, I’m going to show you how to cancel your Amazon Audible membership.
First things first, make sure you’re logged into your Audible account through Amazon. Once you’re in, look for the “Hi” option at the top of the page, which will display your name.
Next, you’ll see your current membership level. I have Audible Premium Plus, but you can check what you have.
Hover over and click on “View Membership Details.” This section will show you how many credits you have left, your next billing date, and how long you’ve been a member. It’s all laid out for you because, let’s be honest, Amazon doesn’t want you to leave.
If you’re considering switching your plan or even pausing your membership, you can do that here too. There’s an option to pause for 90 days, and if you’re curious about what that entails, there’s a link you can check out.
But I know you’re here because you want to cancel, so let’s get to that. To cancel, you’ll need to click on the “Cancel Membership” option.
It’s a bit hidden, but it’s there. After you click it, Amazon will show you a screen explaining what you’ll lose by canceling.
They really don’t want you to go, and they’ll remind you of all the benefits you currently have. At this point, you’ll see another chance to keep your membership, but if you’re sure about canceling, click on “Continue Canceling.” This action will officially cancel your Audible account, and you won’t be billed anymore.
Now, if for some reason you do get billed after canceling, don’t worry! Amazon has excellent customer service and is known for refunding mistaken charges.
