Hi, this is Matt, and this is how to edit a video description on YouTube. I'm right here on my channel dashboard for one of my channels, Film Lifestyle. What we're going to do is use the sidebar to navigate. We're on the dashboard here, so we're going to scroll down to Content.
Once we click on Content, we're presented with all the videos on the channel. Let's say we want to edit the description for this Night of the Living Dead video. To do that, we just need to click on the pen icon beside the video, and then click on Details. This will open up the video’s YouTube description.
You'll see the title here, and of course, you can edit the title if needed. Below that, you can also edit the description. I can easily add some test text here, and it's super simple. In this case, I already have a pretty lengthy description for this particular video.
Once I've finished editing or adding new text, I can simply click Save at the top. That will save the updated video description.
