▬▬▬▬ Video Transcript ▬▬▬▬

Hey guys, Matt here with a quick video on UX and user experience. Today, I’m looking at how I improve the flow and functionality of content displays on Autograph.com, one of our film and movie sites. This is just a minor tweak, but it’s something that helps create a better user experience by optimizing the “Show More” content display.

So, here’s the setup: we have user reviews, and if I’m aligned with the reviews on desktop, clicking “Show More” flows well—the content drops down, allowing users to keep reading. But here’s the small issue: if I scroll further down to, say, the “Similar Movies” section, and I click “Show More” for related content, it expands above where I’m positioned. This forces users to scroll back up, breaking the flow.

It’s a minor hiccup, but ideally, the section should open downwards so the user continues scrolling smoothly without backtracking. This small tweak—likely a CSS change—may seem minor, but it significantly improves the overall experience. Even small details like these matter for a site’s usability and are worth refining to keep things as intuitive and user-friendly as possible.

So, that’s what I’m working on today—a small UX tweak that should make a big difference for users. Thanks for watching, and I hope this is helpful if you're thinking about UX on your own projects. Cheers!
