Hi guys, how do you create a new email campaign in Kajabi? Right, so first of all, Kajabi recently rebranded, updating its interface to a red color scheme and shifting some elements around, so things may look a little different in the future. I’m here in my Kajabi back end, specifically in the automation section for my Video Business Blueprint product.
To start an email campaign, we’re going to use the sidebar on the left and head to Marketing. From there, click on Email Campaigns. This will open up the main email campaigns window, showing all your lists, sequences, or broadcasts. To start a new campaign, click the black New Email Campaign button at the top. Kajabi then gives you two options: Email Broadcast and Email Sequence.
An email broadcast is generally a one-time email, like a quick update or announcement. An email sequence is a series of emails—useful for a sales funnel, onboarding, or educational series. For this video, we’ll go with the email broadcast option, so I’ll select that and click Continue.
Kajabi now presents a selection of templates, including both saved templates and pre-made designs, which range from simple to quite elaborate. Some include countdown timers or video options, and each can be customized. I’ll choose the Classic Editor to show a more straightforward setup.
Once we’re in the editor, we’ll need to add a Title—for now, I’ll put "Demo." Here you can segment your list and filter recipients if needed, but we’ll skip that for now and move to Edit Content.
In the content editor, this is where all your email copy goes. You have options to add images, buttons, and links, with plenty of customization available. You’ll enter your subject line, which recipients will see, and an internal title just for your reference. Down below, you have Automation Options to tag subscribers, add them to other lists, or set triggers once the email is sent.
When you’re ready, you can Preview the email content and even send a Test Email to yourself to check for any adjustments. Once you’re happy, click Save and Continue. If everything is good, you’ll see the subscriber count and have options to Send Now or Schedule the email for later.
