Anxiety impacts many youth with autism, yet it often goes unrecognized and untreated. Psychologists currently researching and treating anxiety in youth with autism discuss the unusual ways that anxiety may show up in this group, and share strategies that reduce anxiety while promoting bravery and independence in children and adolescents.
