Psychoeducational Training Needs Assessment with ODI Women’s Wellness Cohort (2023)
UC Davis LEND and Opening Door Inc have established a partnership since Spring 2022 to empower women through psychoeducational content. Sarah Hajar Darwish is a social work and advocate long-term trainee and a previous mental health clinical caseworker with Opening Door Inc. She presents her knowledge from both LEND and Opening Door Inc that was used to create a needs assessment based on the barriers and needs discovered during the creation and presentation of the psychoeducational trainings. This needs assessment will be used to create more psychoeducational trainings for refugees and expand the partnership between LEND and Opening Door Inc.
