This LEND talk discussed a plan to bring developmental screening access to a local black owned barbershop. With a community broker we plan to present the screening opportunity at a child's first haircut visit. In addition, we plan to provide brief training to barbers on how to better support neurodiverse patrons during a haircut visit. The goal is for equity for black families in accessing early intervention screenings.
