How to use Welcome post feature in Facebook group 2018

Hi Paul here from PRwilson Media. Now if you are running a growing Facebook group with new members joining regularly it's great to be able to welcome them to the group and introduce them to the other members. Here's how it''s done. So you launch your group and if you scroll down you can see down on the right hand side any updates like this one.
So 2 new members this week , write a post to welcome them. And when you click write post something is automatically filled out. But of course you can edit this, you can even schedule it. You can do all the things you can do with a normal post within a group. I'm going to remove that name there. And add an emoji. And of course you can have a welcome image or something like that that you can use for everyone to say hello.
Add a little bit of text as well whatever it is you want to say and then just click Post. Now there are also a number of other options under members that you can have a look at . You can find a member, search through the list. You can message each individual member and you can search through for the particular members you've just added as well. So one of the great features of groups is when it comes to tagging people who are members of the group , so if I now tag the person mentioned there, because they come up as a member already even though we are not Facebook friends we can still tag them in the comment , tag any other members , might be the moderators or something like that.
You just type a letter so I'll type the letter p and there's some p's there , I'll type c and can see some other members and then you can just click post. And it's important to make sure that people who come into the group understand what's going on , get some welcome messages get some support and guidance from the fellow members. What you are trying to create is them interacting with each other , engaging with each other. So as the admins, the moderators you are just there to keep everything going rather than have to keep coming up with the content all the tine. So these are a great way to do it.
