A Female Dungeness Crab in a Trap
Ever wondered what happens when a crab trap hits the bottom? We did...so we mounted our GoPro in a crab pot (trap). Watch as a female Dungeness wanders into our trap and explores ways of getting out. Also watch for a variety of other fish, including small sharks, swim by.
In case you start to feel sorry for the crab, you can't keep females here in the Puget Sound, so we set her free when we pulled up the trap.
By the time we pulled the trap there were 2 male keepers and one Red Rock, who you see casing the trap at the end.
