Picture in Picture is a well hidden feature of Safari that you need to dig a little bit to discover. But once you know what to do, it’s really convenient.
Safari for Mac offers the option of watching YouTube video Picture in Picture, but how to use the option is not that obvious.
So here’s how you can enable Picture in Picture on YouTube when you use the Safari browser on a Mac.
1️⃣ Open any video you want and right click on it. This menu is hijacked by YouTube and we need to get to the Safari’s right click menu.
2️⃣ So right click again. Now you have the original Safari menu. In there, click the "Enter Picture in Picture”.
The Picture in Picture frame can be moved in resized freely.
When you’re done with Picture in Picture, the small frame has a button that allows you to put the video back on the YouTube page.
