How to quickly see the exact time when someone reads your message on WhatsApp
There are two different ways you can see when someone receives and reads a message your send and WhatsApp. Both have a logical implementation and are easy to use.
When you are curious to see if your friend has received or read your message, you have to options: long press or swipe your own message.
Long press
When you long press your own message, a menu will appear. From that menu, you need to tap on Info.
This action is also available on WhatsApp for desktop, both on Windows and macOS.
Swipe
You can achieve the same thing be swiping on your message from right to left (only on a smartphone).
Both actions will open the Message Info window, where you can see the date and time when your friend has received and read your message.
But
Keep in mind that for this to work you need to enable Read Receipts on WhatsApp. You’ll find this option on Settings - Privacy - Read Receipts.
Of course there are always the two colored check marks next yo each message, that shows you if one of your messages was received and read. But by going to the Message Info, you can see the exact time of both receiving and reading.
