UPC Party President Jimmy Akena has called for peace during the forthcoming Dokolo By-election.
On 21 st of this month the people of Dokolo will be deciding who becomes their next Woman mp to fill
the void left by Cecilia Ogwal.

With only days left for the Dokolo district by-election, the clock is now ticking for candidates and parties
to quickly prepare for the by-election.
In small groupings voters also gather under trees waiting to listen to candidates and decide on who has
the best message. In about 30-40mins per venue candidates quickly deliver their manifestos to catch up
with the next venue.

Today, flanked by her party president Jimmy Akena, UPC’s party candidate campaigned in several
venues in Agwata and Adok sub counties. Sarah Aguti pledged to better the livelihoods of the elderly,
advocate for electricity stability in the district and creation of employment opportunities for the young
people.
