Maurice Maeterlinck (1862-1949) was a Belgian thinker, playwright, and poet who received the Nobel Prize laureate in literature. He wrote many short essays, poetic and spiritual in style, about various aspects of life.
The interview with Jairo is based on the essay “Silence” which appeared in Maeterlinck’s collection of essays THE TREASURE OF THE HUMBLE (1897).
