An introduction to pig social behaviour and aggression
As part of her research into pig social behaviour and aggression, Postdoctoral Researcher Lucy Oldham is working on a project which involves letting piglets socialise at an earlier age before weaning with other litters of piglets, in order for them to learn about other pigs before they have to be mixed later on in life. In this video, Lucy introduces the project and how the effects of what happens in pigs' early life can impact their later social behaviour.
