ArcGIS Pro: Multiple Ring Buffer - Average Nearest Neighbor - SDE and MC
This combination of videos includes:
1. How to create a multiple ring buffer. It also provides how to calculate the area per ring and spatially join crime to obtain crime counts per ring. By adding both, crime densities could be calculated to make comparisons across buffer rings
2. Calculating the Average Nearest Neighbor and examining the Report to identify if there is clustering (expected versus observed)
3. Create the Standard Deviational Ellipse and Mean Center. I will create another video on these as they relate to the centrographic measures and spatial dynamics (see LeBeau)
I use Little Rock data for the demonstrations.
