This video covers how to upload a point file into CrimeStat IV and set the XY Coordinates to run a Standard Deviational Ellipse and Mean Center calculation. I go back and forth between ArcGIS Pro and CrimeStat to walkthrough the files I am using and where I am obtaining the information. At the end, the output from CrimeStat are brought back into ArcGIS Pro to display the Mean Center and Standard Deviational Ellipse. I also walk through the steps to set up the Reference File and Measurement Parameter data fields that will be needed depending on the type of analysis you are wanting to run.
