ArcPro: Creating a Kernel Density (hotspot) Map and Converting to Point

This video covers how to create a Kernel Density Estimation (KDE), or also known as a hotspot, map in ArcPro. This is followed by how to convert the raster file to points. Depending on what your overall goal is, this could be your ending task or you could attach these points to a grid so you could develop forecasting comparisons. For instance, you want to select out grid cells in the top 10% to forecast future aggravated assaults and homicides. This approaches a larger discussion on PAI, RRI, PEI, and PEI*.
