Weak ankles lead to chronic sprains. Strengthening your "Evertors" (Peroneal muscles) is the best defense against rolling your ankle.
In this video, Dr. Donald Ozello demonstrates the proper technique for Ankle Eversion Strengthening using a resistance band. This targets the Peroneus Longus and Brevis muscles on the outside of the lower leg, which are critical for lateral stability.

What you get:
Multiple Tension Levels: Perfect for small muscle groups (ankles/rotator cuff) and big lifts (squats).
Door Anchor Included: Essential for setting up the ankle exercise shown at [00:40].
Snap-Resistant Design: Built for daily use.
The Key Technique:
Stabilize the Knee: Hold your knee still so the motion comes only from the ankle, not the hip.
Control the Return: Do not let the band snap your foot back. The eccentric (return) phase is just as important.
The Progression: [00:16] Isotonic: Move smoothly back and forth (15 reps). [00:30] Isometric: Hold at the end range for 2–6 seconds to build static stability.
Prescription: Perform 3 sets of 15 reps. Start with a light band and progress to a heavier one only when you can control the motion perfectly.
