Ganeshotsavam at Amritapuri Ashram
Ganeshotsavam was celebrated at #Amritapuri (@Amritapuri) Ashram in conjunction with Vinayaka Chaturthi in a grand manner. The procession, which started from #AmritaUniversity’s Amritapuri Campus and the Ayurveda Medical College, made its way to the Ashram. Upon reaching Amritapuri, Amma performed sacred offerings to the Ganesha idols and led heartfelt prayers, invoking blessings for world peace. As she showered flower petals, Amma said may we pray to Lord Ganesha for a world of happiness and peace. The vibrant celebration saw the participation of hundreds of devotees, including a large number of internationals, all joining in the festive procession and ancient traditions. The eleven-day-long event ended with the immersion of the Ganesha idols at the serene Amritapuri beach, symbolizing the end of sorrows and hurdles in life.
