Convocation at Chennai Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Campus
#AmritaVishwaVidyapeetham's Chennai campus recently held its second B.Tech graduation ceremony, where over 300 students from the 2020-2024 batch received their degrees. Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE, addressed the graduates as the chief guest. He emphasized the importance of higher education in making India a developed nation by 2047. Prof. Sitharam also urged students to embrace innovation, skill development, and adapt to rapid technological advancements.
In a video message, #Amma, Chancellor of the university, encouraged students to apply their knowledge for the world's well-being. The event also featured guest of honour Dr. Shankar Venugopal and a benedictory address from Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri, inspiring students to respect nature. Medals were presented to top-performing students in their respective disciplines.
