Amrita Hospital Leads National Tele Stroke Project
Amrita Hospital, Kochi, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), is leading the National Tele Stroke Project. This initiative, implemented by the Division of Stroke Medicine in the Department of Neurology, aims to provide critical stroke care to rural communities. Through the Telemedicine Centre at Kotagiri Medical Fellowship Hospital, patients in remote areas can access timely treatment and expert consultations. The project leverages advanced telemedicine technologies to bridge the gap in stroke care, ensuring life-saving interventions reach underserved populations across the nation.
