Today we continue China's story with the period after the fall of the eastern Han dynasty up to the Sui dynasty. Many different states rose and fell during this period, all the while Buddhism entrenched itself in China, and a unified China remained (mostly) a dream. Starting with the 3 kingdoms period, through the 16 kingdoms period and the time of the northern and southern dynasties, China saw many different rulers during this time. Let's dive right in.
