Let's continue our exploration of China's history with a dip into the world of the Eastern Han. The Eastern Han dynasty starts off with some powerful leaders, while the latter century of their history is filled with weak leaders and a competing court, with clans of the empresses, inner-court eunuchs, and the outer-court Confucians. The empire declined and eventually fell apart, to an extent, into an arena of competing warlords. Three powerful generals eventually came to found 3 new states, entering us into the 3 kingdoms period.
