Beside The White Fence (Chapter Ten) - A One DIrection Love Story ♥
"Uh, hi." I manage to get out.
Harry rolls his eyes and goes back to the donut making.
"Hiya! What are you doing here?"
"Well" I say, clearing my throat, "I work here."
"Oh. Right. Well, it's a neat little place you've got here. Umm... I'll have one of the cupcakes. I hear they're the best cupcakes around." He says, smiling.
"Oh, umm, I guess so." I say, grabbing one from behind the glass.
"Well, I can't wait to try it!" I hand him the cupcake and he sits at the table by the window.
It was kinda cute, the way he ate it. He had manners, and he used a napkin to wipe his mouth when he was done, not his sleeve.
What was I saying? He was only an acquaintance.
I get to work, helping Harry with the donuts. We put sprinkles on them and put them behind the window.
After we were done, I went to collect the money he had left for the cupcake. But along with the money, I found a note. It read:
"Jacie,
The cupcake was GREAT like everyone said! I'd love to come back for one sometime. I'll be back tomorrow! :)
-Liam"
But beneath the writing, he wrote down something else.
His number.
