In this lesson, you will learn how to create your very own WORD STENCIL. This is a completely customizable process and really easy to 3-D print.
Most designs can print in under an hour, depending on the size.
Create stencils that are flexible enough to use on a variety of surfaces- even wrapping curved surfaces!
And if you don't own a 3D printer? Check your local library! Many libraries offer printing for a nominal fee.
In Part 7, you will learn a few new tricks, as well as use some tips we have already tried to DESIGN A WORD STENCIL.
This project relies on a few techniques in TinkerCAD we covered in earlier lessons: setting specific measurements, making holes and grouping shapes.
Then we will add a few new tricks as well: ALIGNING OBJECTS ON YOUR WORKPLANE, and exploring SHAPE GENERATORS.
This process is intended to show how we can start to creatively combine some tricks you know! I also show that some measurements may need to be specific for certain purposes or effects, while other measurements may be arbitrary.
