In Part 3, we dive deeper into the drawing technique called perspective. We will begin to draw advanced level details in, on and around our basic 3D solids.
This video illustrates how to use some of our base knowledge and apply it in a wide variety of ways to create illusions like movement, grids and openings.
We will use the same techniques we are already familiar with by drawing additional vanishing point connection lines and additional parallel lines. However, when we multiply the lines and apply lines towards specific areas many effects can happen.
This is an incredibly fun drawing process that has been used by artists for about 500 years! This technique of drawing is the backbone of design for architects, video game designers, interior designers, product designers and many other fields. Once you are aware of the steps needed to draw like this you will feel confident about drawing all kinds of man-made items in this world. This same technique is used to draw buildings, streets, furniture and much else.
It is a long video so you can understand the concepts and techniques. It is advised that you draw and practice much more than what is shown in the video, so you can become not only proficient but comfortable with this style of art. Subsequent videos will follow to teach you how to go even further with your designs and make some incredible content. Use your brain and your hand and make something incredible!
This video lesson was made for the intention of teaching Middle School Art. Anyone new and interested in drawing can benefit from the content here!
