We’ve reached the end of section 4 all about subtractive synthesis. I’m not expecting you to be a sound design wizard by the end of this course…that takes a lot of practice. Rather I hope you feel more comfortable with opening up subtractive synthesizers than you did before you started this section. There’s a lot to navigate and it’s very easy to feel overwhelmed at the beginning. But as you’ve seen throughout this section there is so much in common with these instruments it’s really just a matter of navigation. I hope that after viewing this section you realize that without tons of instruction you should be able to open virtually any subtractive synth and feel pretty comfortable and confident with it.
