If you've been following along our sourdough at home series, this is a video that shows you what your sourdough starter should look like now that it's pretty much ready. After feeding and cleaning it, it rises and falls predictibly over a 12 or so hour stretch (depending on the temperature of your kitchen).
This starter was made with just whole wheat and water, smells great, and will be a hearty guy to have around.
This is how our starter should look like at this point in the process. Check it's activity! It's rising and falling predictably and it smells pretty good. It's ready to use!
