Brad Ramshaw, The Dick and Dale Reis Johnson Assistant Professor of physics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University, explains what quantum materials are, why graphene, silicon and superconductors are so important, and how nanotechnology is powering the age of tomorrow.
Prof. Ramshaw’s presentation was part of the College of Arts & Sciences’ “Arts Unplugged: Science of the Very, Very Small” event that explored some of the exciting innovations in nanoscale science and their ramifications for human society.
