Peter Wittich, professor of physics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University and director of Cornell’s Laboratory of Elementary Particle Physics, explains his quantum mechanics research at the CERN Large Hadron Collider and the discovery of the Higgs Boson.

Prof. Wittich’s presentation was part of the College of Arts & Sciences’ “Arts Unplugged: Science of the Very, Very Small” event that explored some of the exciting innovations in nanoscale science and their ramifications for human society.
