'What Makes Us' Visualized in Personal Artwork
A visual compilation of an artistic theme, realized in a variety of media. From digital animation, to a variety of sculptural media, and summed up in prose and film, it demonstrates the emotional and relatable products that can be developed by delving into a personal and sustained theme. Artistic approaches involve experimentation, symbolic development and ultimately a garment that represents the organs within us through tactile applications to be worn on the outside. This film encompasses student development in both our Animation Program and our Sculpture Program, with final dimensional work created in AP Studio Art 3D. All animations, visuals, filmmaking and artwork created by April Kelly.
Received the High School Multimedia Portfolio Award at the 2024 California Student Media Festival, and Finalist in the High School Aesthetic Non-Fiction Category.
