CGI Environment Created in Blender
In this project, a concept, backstory and community environment were created by the Burbank High School CGI team, and each team member took a part to design and develop. The students envisioned a water based, old world town where rising sea levels required buildings to be built higher and found materials to be used in rustic ways. They learned the program Blender, then built their models based on their 2d drawings and references. This video shows the process of creating the individual 3d models, texture and paint, and then the resulting environment when all are composited into one scene. Created in BHS Animation 3 Entertainment Arts class 2022.
Screened at the 2022 BASH+ at Nickelodeon. Won Best Emerging Technology Award at the 2022 California Student Media Festival.
